The vineyards range from 1,700 – 2,700 ft. in elevation. Emerald Pool is at 2,300 ft.
The vineyards sit 12 miles east of the Pacific Ocean, just before the gateway to the Lost Coast.

In far northern Mendocino County, Stuart Bewley has been growing some of California's most outstanding wine grapes since 1993.
We're 150 miles north of San Francisco and 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Our extreme location and steep terrain has allowed us to choose the most beneficial growing condition for several different varietals. We have planted 31 individual blocks of vines – 140 acres in total – each in its ideal microclimate.
We are located 3 hours north of San Francisco, 12 miles east of the beautiful Mendocino Coast, and 3 miles west of the legendary Redwood Highway 101. This undeveloped region is bordered by dramatic coastlines and the breathtaking Eel River is home to enormous Redwood trees, and a large population of wildlife.
